There was a news story today concerning an investigation into the way in which banks conduct will -writing business and the fees charged.
There has been a lot of publicity recently around wills generally, with a television series showing some of the most difficult situations imaginable. The reality is however that the vast majority of people have fairly straightforward financial affairs and the process of obtaining a will is basically very straightforward. However, unless you have absolutely nothing to pass on, you do need to ensure that you have a valid will in existence for the day the worst happens. Otherwise, how can you be sure who will look after your children or even your pets when you are no longer able to? Slightly depressing topic of course but it’s better to rest easy knowing these things have been arranged in advance.
